MANAGING CORN TORTILLA:
- TO PRESERVE THE LIFE OF THE CORN TORTILLA IS NECESSARY TO KEEP IT IN A COOL, DRY PLACE, OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT.
To heat the product better, do the following:
A) HEAT A GRIDDLE OR SKILLET TO 80 DEGREES CELSIUS. PLACE THE TORTILLA AND AFTER A FEW SECONDS TURN IT OVER. IT IS ADVISABLE TO HEAT ONE AT A TIME AND PUT THEM IN A CLOTH TO KEEP THE TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY.
B) DIRECTLY OVER THE FIRE. WHEN YOU GET THE DESIRED TEMPERATURE TURN IT OVER. IT IS ADVISABLE TO HEAT ONE AT A TIME AND PUT THEM IN A CLOTH TO KEEP THE TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY.
C) IF HEATED IN A MICROWAVE OVEN YOU SHOULD CRANK UP THE TORTILLAS WITHIN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING (OR PLASTIC BAG) WITH A COMPLETELY WET PAPER TOWEL, GIVE ABOUT 5 SECONDS FOR EACH TORTILLA AND FOLD THE BAG HEATED TO NOT LET OFF STEAM.
IMPORTANT NOTE. SAVE TORTILLAS UNUSED IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING OR IN A LARGER PLASTIC BAG WHERE IT CAN OBSTRUCT THE MOUTH OF THE BAG TO PREVENT MOISTURE LOSS AND DRYING THE PRODUCT.
